strange "zsh" files after completion

Hi,
I have a strange problem currently (using 4.0.6-22 on Debian/GNU
Linux): Sometimes, when completing, there appears a file "zsh".
Example:
~/test/zsh> zsh -f
picard% pwd
/home/jean-luc/test/zsh
picard% ls <TAB>
X test1 test1.bak
picard% ls <TAB>
X test1 test1.bak zsh
picard% ls -al zsh
-rw-r--r-- 1 jean-luc jean-luc 0 2003-02-12 15:47 zsh

What's going on here?
Where should I search for the root of the problem?

Bye,
Thomas
