rounding weirdness

i'm seeing this on several boxes:
	% echo $[13.50 + 6.99]
	20.490000000000002

Linux 2.6.26.6	zsh=4.3.4
FreeBSD 4.7	zsh=4.2.1
FreeBSD 6.2	zsh=4.3.6

i don't recall seeing that type of error before. is that normal?
