Ah. I've never paid any attention to hard links before, they aren't onmy radar. Thanks.

You didn't do anything wrong; zsh's default install is designed to avoid
stepping on files from the OS that may be under control of a package
manager.

Ok, so what's the approved fix? In this particular install I have noneed to keep anythingaround that's not current, and of course I want all roads to lead to5.0.7. Should I just fiddle

with the pointers?

BTW, there doesn't seem to be anything else lying around that'sobviously 5.0.6,maybe Debian has it filed some other way. Nice to clean it out ifpossible but I don't want system

upgrades to get all flustered.
