Sounds like you need a test suite for your zshrc.

Or perhaps you would be better served by a /smaller/ zshrc, so fewer
things can go wrong in the first place.

Thanks for the report.  Yes, I should add docs, but that's not at the
top of my list.  In the meantime, just open the zshrc in that directory
and see what's in it.  There is little else there.
