Must be new in 2.6-b12 or AIX 4.1.3, because I'm running 2.6-b11
on AIX 3.2.5 and haven't run into a bug yet. (I've used 2.5.3, 2.6-b10,
& 2.6-b11 for a total of about 5 mo.)
And now we know why so many configure scripts check specifically
for AIX.
