Makefile completion broken in 4.2.4?

Hey together,

With 4.2.0 _make completion in a Makefile (GNU one) works fine. With
4.2.4 _make, it simply starts spending 99% CPU for a while until it
either OOMs or is interrupted.

Is it a known issue?
