Then please tell me the difference, I always thought -s would
imply -a - if that's wrong I want to know it.
I used the following command to create the tag:
    % git tag -s .. -m ".."
I just retried it (locally) with:
    % git tag -a -s .. -m ".."
But I can't see the difference.
