git oddity with zsh repository

I get "\#CVSPS.NO.BRANCH" offered as a checkout target (remote head) when
completing after "git checkout".  Haven't seen that one before, but maybe
I just wasn't looking.  It appears to be something generated by cvsps,
which would mean it dates back a long time?  Did one of the updates to
the _git completers cause it to become visible?
