No soap on the global prompt:
% \ls -ld /etc/z*
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Mar 31 15:10 /etc/zsh-dist/
I moved global rc files aside when I installed.
The diffs indicate a misinterpretation of the quoting of "[". "]" and "?".
Is there some kind of locale-specific interpretation of backslash-quoting?
