I don't think that works well with the duplication of "Z Shell" in both
the heading and logo together. The wizard and it's position was a key
part of the site design back whenever it was created. He's only little
because increasing monitor resolutions have shrunk him.
I don't see any reason why the logo has to be top and centre, I'll admit
that the current location isn't ideal. Perhaps down in the footer where
you have the wizard in that screenshot.
As a general point, I think it's better that we avoid finer points of
the website design being a topic for the list. Better to leave it alone.
It could sooner use a redesign than odd tweaks. Similarly, if someone
(Clinton?) is to do a full redesign, better to give them free rein.

That was, at least at the time the pages were moved to sourceforge, a
requirement from them if you use their hosting. We've talked before
about migrating all the content to www.zsh.org in which case it could
go but someone needs to do the work of merging the two sites.
