Can't speak for everyone, but its fine and i appreciate what you have done
in the past.

i had two small zparseopts patches i was sitting on, plus one that was
already posted+reviewed -- i'll post the new ones shortly, but i'll
understand if it's too late to merge these for 5.10
I have no opinion on this.

i also had some NEWS updates for earlier changes that should go in
before final release; i've just committed those

you might want to review the change log for other changes that require
NEWS or README updates; i tended to do that before releasing and often
found ones that were missed

I still haven't added anything to NEWS/README that wasn't already there,
just updated version numbers. what i've done so far was like a test run
to see the process. i haven't pushed my zsh-5.9.0.2-test tag or my single
commit to master so i can redo stuff if needed. though i did email pws
and bart the tarballs i created to upload to sourceforge.
